COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course introduces the participants to the theory and practice of production management as a functional area in the management of business enterprise. It is a course which primary discuss the principles, concepts and basic problems affecting the manufacturing firm. It also includes the methods, strategies and application of various economical and mathematical tools in solving the production and operation related problems. It covers the major areas of production and operations management: Design of the Operation System and Operation and Control of the System in conformance with the requirement of ISO 9001:2015.
