Quality Management has picked up importance in the recent years with the business following the quality management system as per the guidelines. Quality assurance and quality control has turned into an important segment of the major industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, aviation, marine and other sectors  with the reception of testing and control system of safety. The course comprises a range of specialist subject areas focusing on Quality Systems, Quality Improvement and Management Development. These key areas will help an organisation with the areas of quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and continuous improvement.

• Quality Systems: Those which help organisations deliver products and services. These provide a practical guide for managing, designing, implementing and assessing to meet quality standards.
• Quality Improvement: This is concerned with the tools and techniques that help organisations improve in all aspects of their product/ service offerings and processes, providing a toolkit of improvement mechanisms for use in the work environment.
• Management Development: Through a focus on a strategically important aspect of your organisation, you will learn to analyse risk at a strategic and operational level and identify suitable controls to eliminate, reduce or transfer such risks.

PREREQUISITES

Graduates  with HND/ B.Sc / B.Eng in Sciences, Social Sciences and Engineering or

Graduates of any discipline  with 3 years relevant experience in Quality Management /Engineering

TRAINING METHODS:

Semester 1:

• Online + Classroom: 10 weeks of Online Trainer-Led group discussions, assignments and self-study
• 5 days of classroom training and
• 1 day of exam

Semester 2:

• Online + Classroom: 10 weeks of Online Trainer-Led group discussions, assignments and self-study
• 5 days of classroom training and
• 1 day of exam
• End of programme thesis.
